1. Procurement of Paddy

We believe that the best raw materials are essential in producing a high quality final product. Hence, we opt for the finest paddy procured from the best rice growing areas of Pakistan. Each and every bag is checked by our experts at an onsite lab during the procurement process before being sent into the processing unit. We also work directly with paddy farmers to ensure procurement of purest and highest quality paddy from them bypassing the middlemen. This ensures that the quality is maintained right from the first step and results in satisfaction for both our customers and ourselves. The company has also a well-established infrastructure for paddy purchase from the best rice growing pockets in the province of the Punjab.

2. Drying of Paddy

Drying is very important for safe and secure storage of paddy. It also imparts maturity to the rice grain for excellent cooking results later. Hence, paddy is received on raised platforms, scientifically designed to protect it from moisture. We have installed automatic mechanical drying system, with heat ex-changer mechanism for controlled, uniform and consistent hot air supply to the system for drying. The fresh paddy is dried from 20% moisture level down to 12%. During this process, tempering of paddy is also done.

3. Par boiling of Paddy

Par boiling of rice is a very delicate and highly technical process. We ensure the highest levels of hygiene, cleanliness and strict quality control in our production process. As we consider par boiling and all accompanied processes as our specialization, we can assure near-perfection on requirements like specific color control. Our highly experienced team is fully capable of handling and managing the precise par boiling process for all varieties of rice for complete customer satisfaction.

4. Husking of Paddy

The dried paddy is fed into the in-house husking unit. Here paddy undergoes the process of cleaning, de-stoning, husking, husk and paddy separation, polishing and grading. The husking plant is fully automatic and installed with latest machinery. Extra care is taken that rice retains its tips and natural shape to enhance the appeal of cooked rice.

5. Re-processing

Rice do not reach perfection unless it is immaculately cleaned. Our reprocessing unit is housed in a separate block equipped with latest machinery that is capable of processing rice to its best quality. Rice can be graded at this plant to the highest precision levels ranging from long grain to extra long grain and can be polished from normal to any degree of silkiness. The plant consists of rice cleaner, de-stoner, paddy separator, thickness graders, abrasive polishers, silky polishers, rotary sieves, length graders and color sorter.

6. Polishing

To give the perfect shine and further whiteness to rice, abrasive polishing is done once again. The rice is polished by exposing it to controlled mist of water to give it extra white color, silky finish and pearl like texture.

7. Grading

The whole rice produce is carefully separated from broken grain. Our grading system is comprehensive and consists of graders installed at three stages of milling and processing. This ensures uniformity in grain length, thickness and also controls breakage percentage according to the specific requirements of the product.

8. Color Sorting

For achieving spotless cleaning, the rice is color sorted on a state of the art color sorter from Sortex of England. Using the latest computerized infrared optical recognition technology, it eliminates any chance of discolored and defective grain from the finished product.

9. Quality Control

We strongly believe in catering to the needs of the quality conscious rice market. We have a perfect quality control system to ensure consistent quality of our product. Samples are drawn during different stages of processing at regular intervals and are tested in our in-house fully equipped laboratory. The objective is to constantly monitor the quality with respect to moisture content, whiteness degree of finishing, average grain length (AGL), breakage percentage and color of the grain. Qualified and experienced technical staff carries out the entire operation. All export orders are monitored as per customer’s specifications and packed under strict hygienic conditions.
